2007 the year of the Pig was a very unstable one. Behind the smoke screen of a property craze in Singapore, the year was filled with political unrest in many countries, market turmoil, terror attacks, natural calamities and illnesses. Good news for all! Though in the early months of the 2008 Chinese year, the after- effects of 2007 will still linger around with us, 2008 the year of Rat is going to be an easier year for most of us in general. It will be filled with greater vibrancy and energy. It is time for you to stand up, to do some stretches and read on…

Movement is the word that governs this year. What does that mean? There will be more traveling for us. It could be either for business or vacation. Our hearts will be screaming for the latter. Many people will be migrating, relocating or even moving actively about within a country. If you are traveling, migrating or relocating to another country while enjoying the excitement, remember to be aware and sensitive to the local cultures and blend in with society without losing your individuality. This is highlighted because humans are territorial. When the locals feel that there is a sudden increase in foreigners, hostility will arise easily and inevitably. Any misbehavior or insensitive gesture may spark off conflicts between the locals and the foreigners. Be street smart and be aware of your surroundings.

Another aspect of 2008 is that it is a great time for socializing, networking, building rapport and participating in team activities. If you are in sales, this is a golden period for you to increase your client base, build rapport with your existing clients, get new leads, clinch that new deal etc. In general, this is the time to get out there and be with others.

Meet new people both through work and personally. This is the time for you to meet people who can inspire you, see the strengths in you, support you and even to finance or help you to achieve your dreams. During this period, it is more important than usual for you to be positive so that you can attract positive people into your life. Industries that can catch on to this positive vibe are property, hospitality, tourism and entertainment. If you have business dealings within these areas, you should reap the best out of it. Now that i know what i want to be in future …

it seems like I am being too fussy in picking my ideal job!! say bubbye to those executive or consultant positions!!

I applied for positions like :

• Associate (Masters graduates’ positions)
• Assistant Relationship Manager
• Assistant Private Banker

but …. to be frank other than the Associate position which is meant for fresh graduates, Assistant Manager and Private Banker require at least 2-3 years of experience!! even with 2-3 years of experience, it is hard to get the position!

Plus, i just received a news, the ideal bank i applied to is not having a budget constraints, so i might be affected….

in any-case, i applied for some graduate positions offered in Hong Kong , Misha and Misha’s mum - here I come !! ( if i successfully get the job! hahah)

yes i am up again…

oh wells, what can i do? life goes on

just hope that i got enough energy to attend lessons later…

and i haven’t finish my homework…

but still that doesn’t mean i can be excused from class….

but now that i am doing it again …

reason is that i was tagged in a couple of photos at Facebook … and reminded so much about him …. on his birthday and coffee sessions at Famous Gus Cafe as well as our formal International Ball…where he first kissed me …etc etc….

i cried … i don’t know if i am missing him or i am just upset that we are no longer together …

i do not want to see those photos everyday .. i don’t want to be reminded of those days …..

after considering for couple of hours, i really cannot take it , i told that particular friend to untag/remove me from those photos …. She is understanding … and she promised to remove them later ….

guess what smell can i smell now??

i smell the an neh smell (indian smell) … i don’t know how to explain but this is the typical An Neh’s smell….

yes yes i am mean to call them an neh .. but … yucks… mamak smell ( combination of onions, oil, prata, curry etc etc) ……

bleah!! i cannot even go to the washroom now.. cos washroom is next to the kitchen , if i go there , means i will return later WITH THAT AN NEH SMELL!!!

my friends were so nice to say i am lucky to stay with an AN NEH family .. yes they are nice .. but the smell of their food is unbearable!! till my clothings might have the Dhal/prata/curry smell ….

So now i am smarter.. i wash my clothings in the morning and dry them there..then i keep them back in my room before 5 pm ( before they cook dinner!) wahahah…smart right ??

* i have nothing against Indians , just that i am annoyed by the smell of the Indian food! but one cannot deny the fact that Indian food is yummy too! *

How would i define a romantic Valentine’s day ?

Over the years , i have spent like 3 or 4 valentine’s together with my ex-boyfriends! most of the time , we would exchange presents and have a romantic dinner at nice food places. At times , we would also catch a movie!

Actually , to me as long as I can spend quality of time together with my loved one as well as a nice dinner , i will be happy! Of course, if boyfriend is willing to spend some time doing some DIY items such as love letter or handmade cards , it will be ideal to match the romantic theme of Valentine’s day! But i know both my ex-boyfriends are not as creative, so they actually went to search for free love letters on the net , personalize them and gave it to me . those are the most wonderful gifts from my ex-boyfriends!

I am hoping to have a Valentine’s day in 2008.

My apologies… i wrote this blog is not to announce to you guys that i am rich or poor…

it is just that out of no where i was inspired( from Uncle Lim’s death) to talk about that issue that happened in my life….

sigh … i am really not from a wealthy family …. not poor of course .. but cannot categorize myself into the RICH category

New furniture for new home! since the new house consists of 7 rooms , we need to get not just new beds set , dining room sets as well as living room sets .

For the maid’s room , we have decided to get her a storage beds because her room is not too big and she needed a lot of space to keep stuff of herself and my family. As for sister , she demanded for a Platform Bed because she wants a modern looking bed to match with the feel of her room.

As for mummy’s biggest concern is definitely the 9 pieces leather dining chairs! it is crucial as it is made of solid wood and and Italian leather which is handsome and long lasting!

We have gotten everything from old world furniture, which is our one stop furniture stop!

I missed out something… from previous shopping trip in KL before I left home.. i forgotten to mention that i did bought a pair or low heels/pump alike …

The whole extortion started off after my grandma passed away …

everyone being really sad , all headed back to hometown … wanting to settle everything , bury her bla bla bla… then my uncle received a call on the 3rd day of the ceremony!!

“Don’t think we don’t know who u r , who your bro in laws are, where u all stay and everything! get ready rm50k! or your funeral will not be a peaceful funeral!Don’t call the police!!”

So , everyone sat down, had a meeting , to gather money for the bugger? or call police? finally we decided to ignore , just lodge a police report….

then they called again the next day

“is the money ready? bank in to blablabla account number!Don’t call the police!’

but .. we didn’t do that ….

on the 5thday (funeral day)…. everything went on smoothly …..nothing happened….

after about a week… we saw it on papers… another family also got extorted …. and they paid !

see? how evil these buggers are?????

so a warning for u , never have too many and big big condolences notices on papers for days …. for your information , my grandma’s condolence notice was up for about a week … and a few pages full.. so … keep a lower profile okie ??

this month is a weird month ..

it came like 2 weeks later ( it is normal to be late)

but ….

day one .. a lot ..

day two .. slowed down

day three… stopped…

day four ..came back ( bit bit only)

day five … more than day 4 less than day 2 …

crazy right ???

then i read a friend’s blog..she just got a miscarriage.. she mentioned her period was weird too … actually it was a miscarriage…

but come on la.. I’m still a VIRGIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

maybe i am too stressed up so the menses cycle went crazy

first night : 5++ am

second night: 4++ am

third night :3++ am

today :2.30 am

so tomorrow will be 1.30 am? later on i don’t have to sleep anymore right ???

it is not like i go to bed at 6pm , i go to bed at 11pm last night … previous nights also around Midnight …
