forgive and forget …not
i remembered very clearly … when my ED signed the contract, i scanned a copy for myself and gave the original to the old lady (let’s call her aunty T)… i remembered very very clearly because i know i’m new , i may be a lil’ forgetful so i don’t want to carry the ori copy around….
then she kept it in a folder… i saw!
that happened like 3 weeks back ..
and today , ED wanted to see the ori copy … she asked me for it .. of course i don’t have it , i only have the scanned version which she doesn’t want! then i asked aunty.T for it..she starred at me … and said ” NO , i never keep anything of yours! ” then i was like ” remember blablabla…” she said ” yes , i know, then i gave it back to you because i said i don’t keep anything related to Marketing ” …
fine… then i came back to my seat.. i find high and low … cannot find anything .. i confronted her again , saying that ” auntie , i don’t have it with me , i remembered very very clearly u kept it in a folder in the second cabinet” … unwillingly she went to search at the second cabinet… she can’t find anything… more angry la (she , not me) … she came to my table , and said ” it is in the blue folder of yours …” then i told her ” no , i’ve never filed it here and i showed it to her ” she flip flip flip unwillingly … found nothing ….
then she raised her voice ” it is not with me , i never kept a single thing of yours with me..” she walked away ! fine , i thought this time , sure die already lo.. sure i kena … just when i was about to tell ED about it ..she came over to my table.. ” my apologies” … she found it ! she said she kept it in another folder!
alamak.. see la?! old aunty..go home la….
i knew it very well that it is with u .. u said no.. u showed anger … just because i am new ? or because i am younger and earning at a higher wage rate than u , u get jealous? or issit cos i am prettier ?…
she is one troublesome one… she dislikes me …. i helped her with her workload , and now she is rather free… yet she hates me? because when i took over her job boss treated me well ? because i came for just a month and boss told everyone in the firm to assist and obey me?
i know you are old , i need to treat you with a respect, but come on , i am not your kids/kids’ friends… we are colleagues, i try not to think about age, we all work and do well and be happy , that’s it ! but why must you come up with workplace politics ?
hate me for all you want… mummy told me to buy her heart by buying her lunch, but NO way i’m going to suck up to her! who is she? she is just an old aunty!!
mr.Wong on the other hand is agaisn’t bribery .. because he is working with loads of olderlies too.. he knows, he understands.. he faced the exact same prob as me .. one old fella just unhappy with him as he is more capable..
i take all these as JEALOUSY …. oh well.. i deal with her when i need to.. other than that… no … i don’t even want to be close to her !!

hopefully they’ll really look into this matter ..
