On the same day .. Bf and my colleague both left their mobile phones in the cab..

but both were lucky enough to get back their phones!

Boyfriend - he realised he left his phone in the cab about 10 seconds after we left the cab.. when he ran after the cab..the cab driver didn’t hear him knocking on the cab , so he zoomed off…  it was raining very heavily thus bf didn’t run further.. we called his mobile, the kind passenger picked up and told us to collect the phone at her house… we got it back despite some running under the rain and spent S$10 (= rm24) on cab to the kind passenger’s house!

My colleague - she realized she left the phone in the cab about 5 minutes after she alighted… she called her mobile and the cab driver picked up..then sent it back to her about 10 minutes later after doing a de-tour back to where he dropped her off!

I think if this happens in Malaysia, don’t need to hope/pray to get your mobile phones back!! In Singapore , u can always try calling the cab company , they’ll send out notice to all cab drivers immediately , or if u know the car plate number, they’ll locate the cab driver for you. Or just call your own number, hopefully the kind soul who picks it up is willing to return to you!

Thank you, kind passengers for returning boyfriend’s mobile phone! Because we definitely didn’t set aside mobile phone funds until after June 2010!!
