phew… finally it is OVER!

It involved alot of hard work and money!

My family traveled all the way from Johor, Singapore, Kuantan etc etc to KL .. Friends from all over the world came too…

Travel to Ampang to collect cookies and Yong Tau Fu, to Pavilion to get heels, to Times Square for dress fitting, decorate the house, order Satay for 25th , get extra cutlery, plates, cups, fork, spoon, drinks and some stuffs for the party . expecting about 100 guests!

24 December 09

The canopy is up! rush here and there… PJ to KL , then our first batch of guests arrived! totally out of expectation! cos we weren’t ready.. we’ve prepared a semi-D for our guests to stay .. but we’ve yet to have time to do thorough cleaning! and the guests included 1 toddler and 2 babies!! so we had to settle them down first.. they ended up staying in my house rather than the semi-D we prepared for them!On top of that , sister and I were at Neway ,1Utama when we received the call that they’ve arrived!!! we still haven’t finish singing and they arrived! bleah….. however, i enjoyed the short moment with sister @ Neway! heeh

Brought them out for dinner and all..

25 December 09

Party at home .. the whole day was busy… busy entertaining the relatives.. from breakkie at the best Char Siew and Hakka Noodle place then brought them to Ikea , The Curve and 1 Utama! come home to lay out the tables then out to buy stuffs! and guess what?! i was stopped by a traffic police for using mobile phone while driving!! it was so shitty..there goes my RM 50!!

Party finally began! then i had to pick the Tai Kam CHeh up… send her here and there, to get stuffs , back to my house then to the groom’s house! I’m glad that BF drove most of the time! if not , i’ll DIE!!

26 December 09 - the wedding day

5.00 am - wake up… my aunts were already in the kitchen , preparing some food , i started to cut the cakes/jelly/kuih … then the Sandwiches, Mee Siam, Yam Cake, Fried Rice arrived

6.00 am - other batch of relatives arrived! they left JB at 2 am , thus arrived my place at 6 am !! got them to settle down in a room to refresh/rest

6.30am - Bride’s make up artist arrived!

6.45 am - My make up artist and hair stylists arrived!

8.30 am - done with make up , groom arrive

10.15 am - sis and i plus the bf left to the groom’s place..cos we needed to bring sister’s dresses over before she arrives!

10.30 am - bride and groom left my house to the groom’s place!

10.45am - help the bride change to her “kua” (chinese traditional attire) then we went down for Starbucks! hehe… Groom’s finally got Starbucks and Kenny Rogers to cater their lunch!

11.30am- but we didn’t stay for lunch, we had to rush off to BF’s house to pick up his suit for ironing so that he can be at my place the whole day … hah a also managed to “steal” two muffins before everyone started digging in!

12.30pm - home finally … removed my corset!phew..what a relief! hahahahah… lunch- Bao Bao Ban Mian! actually we had home cooked Taro Pork, Siew Yoke , Curry Boar, etc etc at home but we prefer Bao Bao Ban Mian! *wink* that’s why i ta pau-ed from Aman Suria when Bf sent his suit for ironing!

BF anf I rest till 1.00 pm - then off to pick up bf’s suit and buy some food for the bride and groom who were at the Hotel already . While mum and younger sister went to Hotel to deliver sister’s stuffs, they only returned home at almost 2 pm!! initially plan was to leave home at 2.30-2.45 pm but …. delayed till 3.30pm , all thanks to my mum

3.30 pm - off to hotel

4.00 pm - make up session begins!while bf had to take up the role as coordinator to ensure the rehearsal runs well

5.30 pm - rush to the ballroom .. immediately started to entertain ppl …

7.00 pm - Registration of Marriage

8.00 pm - Dinner! loads of explanation that I”M NOT THE BRIDE , AND I”M NOT GETTING MARRIED SO SOON!! muaha..but i was offered a UNLIMITED blank cheque from Dad’s business partner if i get married next year! plus loads of Ang pows waiting for me! hahahah …. ya ya… that’s only if i get married next year la!

Before i could sink my tooth into my delicious dessert, i had to go out and thank our guests and say Bye Bye… :’( i want my Chocolate Lava Cake + Vanilla Ice Cream!!

all the way till about 11.30 pm ….

Drove home and only arrived home at 1.30 am!!!

Left home at 4 am to catch 6.15am’s flight to Singapore, touch down at 7.30am , took MRT and straight to work! now, i’m half dead laying on my bed …tired!!
