I know it has been almost a month since my birthday …

hahah , but after all my surprises posts, i was so lazy to post about my pressies..

First

He wanted to cut his hair , thus i tagged along! After he told the hair dresser how to cut blablabla, i laughed and told the hair dresser ” can you please change his hairstyle?” muahaha..the hair dresser laughed then gave his suggestion, i totally agree with the suggestion and asked him to cut it! The bf then asked ” my hair or your hair?” and i was like “do you see your hair more or do i see it more?” The poor bf had no choice but to agree with me because I said “CUT according to hairdressor’s idea” aahhaha .. so now he has a new hair not the old ah pek hairstyle anymore!

Second

He is a typical “banana” he knows nothing but just English and Malay .Very minimal of Mandarin and Canto ( he learnt these when he came to Singapore) .. But last night , i forced him to watch TVB drama with me and there’s NO subtitles! he managed to watch 3 episodes and finally he gave up! i am feeling extraordinary bad for making him suffer …

Third

I complain alot especially about his cleanliness … i mean he is clean himself but the room …. OMG ! dirtiest room i’ve ever entered! The first time i went , i really complaint about everything in the room from lights , bed , fan ,  wall, ceiling , window , closet , bin , deco etc etc…and worst still , that was AFTER him cleaning up!!! i cannot imagine how dirty it was before that! but thank god , his mommy came down last week and did a good job in cleaning up the whole house! or , i’ll die!

Forth

He is actually quite a thrifty person! but … haha not anymore because i make him use alot alot of money everyday!! yeah he has to bring me to nice nice dinner with Aircond , watch expensive movies at nice cinemas , take cab instead of bus/mrt , buy me gifts etc etc…. poor him , lucky me!!

Haha.. though he just got his pay increment , but before he get to see the real money coming in , i’ve planned for him on how to spend already!! *evil!!*

my secondary school teacher’s son …

Such a small world right?

yeah i knew his mum and his older brother but i didn’t know him even when we were in the same secondary …

he is one year older than me , did an Engineering degree … now working in one of the largest firm in Singapore. Earning an alright wage now at his age lahh .

I didn’t  announce it to the world because i believe it is between me and him … but of course most of his friend know about it already …because he went to do research on my family’s business and now they address me as MISS *company’s name* !!!! sigh …

but i did tell my good friend who is stationed in KL now…:)

things have been going on smoothly for us … though i have been very busy this two weeks , but we still share adequate amount of time together ..

i always have to work O.T lately , and he would wait till i finish work to go for dinner together ! we would also wake up at 6 am just to meet up with him before we go to work …

he is sweet .. but he is definitely the first boyfriend who  teases me !! i shall not punish him  by comparing him to previous boyfriends.. because he is who he is and i shall love him for who he is !!

Joker nature but actually a man who thinks alot alot !

today we were talking about priorities in life..he said ” it is unfair to rank you against my family and friends because everyone is equally important! all i can say is that you play and very important role in my life!  he is not a “kou hua hua” guy …  whatever he says , is true and he means it deep down his heart!

Alright , i am getting sleepy and tired… i shall not give him a name but just address him as Mr. BOYFRIEND/Mr.BF from now onwards!

After our yummy dinner… we were discussing where to go , either to drink or catch a movie.. i was alright with anything .. so then just asked the man to call for the bill..

i thought he really asked for the bill…so while waiting , we continued chatting .. happily opening up all my pressies…

but to my surprise ..

the waitress brought out this yummy Bakerzin mango mousse cake!!

i was very surprised because i thought the hot dog bun was my cake!!

Thanks to the man … he is so sweet.. thanks for that series of surprises! * i should say this is the first birthday having so many surprises… *

Almost reaching a quarter of my life … that’s depressing …

but but but i had a great time last night!!

it wasn’t a fancy birthday party/dinner..

but it is the companion that counts!

they gave me quite a few surprises too.. but the minimal amount of photos are with my friend … as well as 2 video clips of ME!!

This is the restaurant where we had our dinner… pretty posh dinner … they are famous fo their duck breast but it wasn’t available last night.. so i took Salmon and others had CHicken , lamb and some other fishes… yum yum! everyone were happy!!

we then opened botols at Bellini Room … i was invited by the first lady singer to go on stage with her.. she sang me a very very lovely birthday song in Jazz…

then after the break , two other new singers came in .. ANG MOs! ahaha.. when he was singing solo .. he came to me .. held my hands and brought me up to the stage again.. danced with me.. make me so shy lo … he got a pair of pretty eyes.. but abit gay ! hahahahah

this is the guy who sang me a lovely song , danced and knelt on the floor to “propose” to me … *shy* 

yeah so i was the center of attention that night.. MALU!!

and guess who i saw? Lin Zhi Ling- the Osim ambassador? she is so pretty ! flawless completion

*mr.K spent quite a bit last night!! i offered to pay him back but he refused! he doesn’t accept in cash he said , he wants kind repayment… o_O but i will return him the money because I’m not used to being spent for no reason!!- i mean he has no reason to spend on my friends too right? *

So sweet of him.. i called and before i can say “hello” then he started singing!!! and actually he was having his milky at that time , but was “forced” but his mummy to stop and SING for this CHE CHE ! hehehehe… i heart him so so so so much!! really , i shall always call him when i am down , i’m sure he will cheer me up!he is just too CUTE!!

i admit that i haven’t been in my mood to do anything … no idea.. is it because I’m tired from the KL trip ? or just that things was not going on according to my plans ..

Monday night , i was all down .. really .. i cried…

Tuesday night, i locked myself up .. ignored all calls … but of course i didn’t cry … just really upset…

Wednesday night … i do not know what will i do …

in fact.. I’m troubled…  with loads of unnecessary stuffs… nothing big actually….

but today .. i came to office.. despite having a couple of troublesome stuffs that needs me to settle ( yes i need to settle them before i leave for KL again) …

i was in my superbly good mood…why ?

1. my dear friend Preeti  is attached to her arranged marriage “hubby” ! :)  at least there’s true love … very very happy for her!!

2. Angie from Melbourne was chatting with me the whole morning.. it is like we hardly keep in touch but when it comes to July , we’ll be in touch because today is her birthday and tomorrow is mine, so we will wish each other! and at the same time catch up a lil!!

3. Miss Michelle who has just turned Mrs.Lee not too long ago.. having to hear from her that she is doing great with her hub.. and planning for her customary … happy happy !! i will be one of her Ji Muis ..

4.IT man .. got me coffee in the morning! hehehe.. he got me Ya Kun coffee.. it is quite bitter ! but it is nice! thanks IT man …

5. Shi Qi is starting her new job today .. all the best to her! can imagine her in the Kebaya..so sexy!! hehe

6. Mr.Wong… never fail to give me a morning call every morning! hehehe…

7. i get to choose my own present tonight after work! let’s see what will i choose ok? but … i know myself well… I’ll end up getting nothing because i am not those that will demand alot…. ( i mean i will always jokingly ask , but .. when it really happens, i will run away ! h’m scared!)

8. Dear Nicole has planned a dinner for me tomorrow! all i need to do is just to turn up! so sweet…..

9. Of course .. i can’t help it but to visit my blog every now and then just to admire the flowers and cake as well as the dinner blog …. i miss my family !!

10. i dunno why … i am just happy!!

i am now the HAPPIEST princess!! ( i mean happiest day since i started working, really) 

*the sad part is that i will have to be here for a whole day meeting with the boss tomorrow but but but , he will be buying me lunch muahahaha* 

I was rather disappointed because i came home just to pre-celebrate my birthday with my family but they IGNORED me! i was out with friends from morning till evening on Saturday!

then when i called home to check out the time/venue for dinner , they ignored me too!! told me to drink the Watercress double boiled soup and some fried fish for dinner!!!!

ahha.. later on , mummy asked me out for dinner! asked me to choose either Lobster or anything i want! at that time , daddy was not home yet , so i thought this will just be another ordinary dinner with my sisters and mum ….

*surprise surprise* suddenly my dear PAPA came home…:) he told us to hop into his car! woohoo… so happy ….

he again asked what dinner do i want and blablabla..finally we settled down with Daorae , Korean Restaurant!

Because we knew the boss there, we get to sit in their rooms even when the place was packed… so sweet!

Take a look at the food we had ! the waiter promised to dance for me since he was told that we were there for birthday celebration , but i was too shy ! hehehe… so yeah , told him not to do so later on …. and we got a free Kimchi Pancake - courtesy of the boss.. we just packed it home because we were all too full!!

So full … but one thing i hate about Korean BBQ and steamboat …. they stink, er more like WE stink!! when i came home , i immediately showered! washed myself from head to toe… yes yes i’m a clean freak!!

ok … this is my first celebration with the family … mum claims that we can celebrate again next week when i return home! * happy happy*

I’m a even HAPPIER princess ….

Woke up pretty late at about 9 am in the morning .. because i was totally exhausted due to the long bus journey!

I went downstairs at about 10 ish after showering and my maid said : ” mei , you got a surprise!”

then i was like “what?” … she told me to go and have a look at our lounge area… i went but i saw nothing …she later told me .. it is at the other side..

and guess what i saw???? it was a big big surprise to me!!!!! muahaha.. so excited and so happy !!

Can you guess who bought it??? my whole family teased me about it! they thought it must be some man ….

but but but they are wrong !!

the flowers look so pretty right? they smell great too…

i can’t help but to look at it every-time i walk pass it …

so so so so happy … really ….

having to come home for a short short trip yet i get to receive surprises and have fun with family and friends.. i feel so loved!!

Later on , we went to East Coast Park for dinner at Kenny Rogers… they serve ribs in Singapore … er.. but .. not very yummy i would say .. or maybe cos i was feeling unwell…

chilled there till midnight … i love ECP beach!!!!

the fishes

I’ve had a bad week .. so on Saturday i decided to pamper myself .. go out and shop shop then chill …

but ..thanks to the stupid weather and the menses… i felt a lil’ unwell.. from headache to dizzy and almost puked … then tummy cramp….

He was nice .. he wanted me to relax myself and forget the pain .. so he brought me to this Fish Spa place for a trial session! just 10 minutes!

i took quite some time before i put my foot in … the tickling feeling is super funny .. i laughed like mad….but i like the after effect.. your foot feels smoother and it is painfree unlike pedicure when they will scrub superbly hard!

He then signed up for 6 sessions .. 3 for me and 3 for him … hehe so i will have 3 more half an hour sessions!! hooray …

* the fishes are quite big…quite scary …but worth trying!*

What do I like about Singapore? I like it when i can pretend to be a tourist! it has been more than a year since i came to Singapore but as you know the time i actually spent here is very very minimal ( about5 months?) yeah… and

i did not have much chances to go around and visit these tourist attractions! namely the Night Safari , Zoo , Bird Park , Sentosa blablabla… the last time i went there was when years back perhaps in high school period!

Last night , some nice guy took me to Sentosa , i felt so much like a tourist! We went there by Cable car , headed to Mount Faber before we head to Sentosa… First stop was Sky Tower , it is good! but the price is a bit steep! SGD12 for 7 minutes! but .. the view is quite nice , i enjoyed myself truly! Then , we walked down to the Merlion and Merlion Walk … didn’t go up as it was too late already! the Purple Merlion is not as handsome as the ori coloured one .. so i conclude the morning Merlion is a better looking lion compare to the night one…Palawan Beach ( bodoh right? they don’t know how to spell PaHlawan!)…. eww… i don’t like it at all! the sand are rough , the waves are minimal .. nope.. i was feeling so down after this spot… including the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia !!er.. nothing special … just look out place lo.. but at least i’ve been to the Southernmost point of continental Asia!!  then the guy brought me to Tanjong Beach ( again, they can’t spell! it is tanjUng ! ) we had drinks and snacks at the KM 8 beach bar! we chilled at the bench .. till 1 am …it was awesome!

but but but i still prefer East Coast Beach! Then we headed back for some supper for that man .. finally HOME at about 2 am !!

I definitely had fun being a tourist! the man claimed that i am not a tourist ( as i am a Singapore Tax Payer) but i do act like one..:) he promised to make me a tourist again soon! i love having to travel around without being known as a local!

We headed out for dinner .. at Makansutra Esplanade.. er, food is alright .. nothing too great! we had :

• Fried hokkien prawn noodle
• Fried Kuey Teow
• BBQ Chicken Wings
• Carrot Cake
• Oh Chien ( Fried eggs with oysters)

Then headed to Harry’s Esplanade … chilled there till 11 am ….

and ..

Went to catch this show - “The Happening” - it is so scary !! i shouted a couple of times… but the ending was quite bad !

Followed by a stroll by The Merlion ...

and to Lau Pa Sat for supper ( not for me .. just for them , i had Milo Ice only) ….

Redhill Garden was our next journey ! chit chatted till 6.30 am !!!! yeah .. i know… long winded right? heheh …

Suppose to head to the gym.. but .. i guess I’m too tired… cos i slept for just 3 hours as i woke up at 9.30 !! i better not work out today as He is i am afraid that i will faint! i got a strong feeling that i really will since i don’t have enough sleep and haven’t been fit this couple of days!

but i will still head to Bugis temple ! i promised to pray last week but i was lazy , this week i have to go .. a promise is a promise!!

After work , went out for Dinner with him , he came to my workplace then we went to Boat Quay area.i didn’t know that my office is very near to Boat Quay ( i mean not very very near but still within walking distance) …

Had Indian Food at Saffron Bistro ( Circular Road , here) which is not cheap!! with the price we paid for , we can get one nice nice Indian meal with Curry Fish head for a table of 6 at least back home! but of well.. nice ambiance… so yeah …

Then we took a long stroll from Boat Quay to Clarke Quay then to City Hall and came home .. we also ride the River Taxi.. not bad.. abit suffocating as it was hot ! but the view was quite nice i would say ! worth the money!!

I almost fainted in the Mrt on our way home , the ventilation was really bad…. hopped off the train and get some fresh air … thanks to the lime juice too which eased a lil’ of my giddiness ….. hate the trains !! hate public transports!! * i’m still feeling a lil’ uneasy now..*

So , from a rather relaxing night , it turned out to be a bit sickening … my bad … just me who can’t take those place with bad ventilations …

Itellu… my boss threw a stack of stuffs to me at about 4.30 pm , i can easily get them done in 2 hours ! so about 6 30 then i can leave..

but unfortunately it was not the case, i had to attend fire prevention talk which took up a good precious hour… and worst still , when i resume work after the prevention talk , when i was almost done, boss emailed me again! gave me more work!!argh!!! so annoying! but what to do , he is the boss!! 

i rush rush rush .. finally manage to finish the work by 7.30 pm ..

quickly rush to Orchard’s Seoul Garden to celebrate a friend’s birthday!!! Buffet BBQ ( About SGD 28 per pax) - nothing great to shout about despite hearing so much good reviews about it! bleah!

haha, i got the saleslady to get me 26 small candles! 

i bought her a cake from Rive - Japanese Chestnut Cake .. total of 8 of us .. makan makan till about 11pm, then headed to Cineleisure for  Karaoke session… seriously , karaoke is not cheap at all SGD 400 for 8 of us!!!!! bleah … we sang till 4 am !!

yes yes ! i saw sun rise!! but the waiting time was a pain ( from 5 am - 7 +am ) ..

reached home at 7 30 am ….see? life is so so so  “interesting” right?

but it was all good..we are now back to rest and will continue later !!

Actually it was Annie who reminded me to go down to the lakes to throw mandarins hopefully i can get a bf this year!

but i do not want to go to Kampung Kayu Ara’s river because i guess the ppl who picks up will be rubbish collector or kampung ppl!

I don’t want to go to Klang cos many of them speaks fluent Hokkien and i can’t speak Hokkien !! Moreover , i don’t want to travel so far just to throw oranges!

as for the Taman Jaya’s lake… my friend once threw oranges on my behalf and the following day , i really receive two calls! but … they spoke broken english! thus i hung up on them !!!

Annie suggested throwing at Tropicana’s lakes! sounds like a good idea since there’s one right behind my house.. but who is going to pick my orange up????

please spread the news and make everyone to go over to Tropicana to pick my orange ok ??? muahahahah  -shhh…. but don’t mention it is my idea ok? shy!!

No idea what’s the price but it is definitely much lower compare to L.Vs but it is good because it is so big that i can even dump my laptop in it ! i can carry it as sling , handbag and hand held bag ! all i am concern is about the colour ! white… yeessh..hard to take care but it is awesome! i love stuffs in white colour!! just have to be extra careful!

Happpppppppppy Valentine’s day !!

My day started really early …

7.00 am - morning jog !

8.00 am -breakkie

10.00 am - out to Serdang!

arrive at the Mines , wanted to bring the 3 ladies ( 2 grand aunts , 1 grandma - aged 65, 68 and 75 !) to The Mines Wonderland , but unfortunately , they are only open at 4 pm ! so , we went for the boat ride! paid rm120 and sat for about an hour …

Grandaunt 2 and grandma , Grandaun2 looks very very much like my own grandma who passed away few years back !

oh wells, my grandaunts enjoyed the ride!:) they are both very young at heart, loves travelling and photo shooting!

1.00 pm - Lunch at Esquire Kitchen!! ohhh..the amount of food they ate… Fish , Chicken, Tofu , Vege , Prawns ! they “gao dim” (finished) up 95% of them!

All i did was just peeling the prawns , cutting the fish for them and serve them !!

2.30 pm - head off to KLCC ! they wanna see the Twin towers !

Actually , if its not because of them , i’m sure i will not try that boat ride..oh wells, it is an experience! I miss my grandma because my grandaunt really looks like her… everytime i see her , it will bring back my memory of my grandma!

Also the lunch at Esquire Kitchen , i brought them there because that’s Grandma’s favourite restaurant before she passed away ! Glad that her sisters like it too !

Ok, gonna take a short break and head out soon!

A day with elderlies… walked really slowly .. but still i’m TIRED!! because i hate being the DRIVER! and the weather is simply too HOT!!!!
