I’ve been sick since last Thursday * i think!* …

Started from a bad throat .. then to runny nose and now bad cough … voice was a bit coarse too …

I went to the Dr on Monday after meeting a client..but the very smart Dr said i’m down with mild flu only … but … until today i’m still sick!!!!

in-fact it is getting worse! and now i’m taking my own medicine rather than those med he prescribed!! useless fella yet he charged me SGD40!!!! normally i pay about 30 bucks only!!!

sigh.. the cough is really bad… it is the cough that might cause vomiting!! it is not fun at all …

Monday- Wednesday - i still go to work but after settling my work, i’ll leave… can’t take it …

Thursday - after morning bath, when i was about to go to work..the bad cough started again!!! argh! then i decided that i’ll just rest for a day..hopefully i’ll recover

Mummy/sister/sister’s bf and the maid are coming to Singapore tomorrow! can’t wait!!

today we saw a place…

price wise- we’re ok

location- we’re ok

layout- everything OK but the living room is a bit long …not square..thus feels abit small

after seeing it, bf sounded really interested and all..we even called the fengshui master to help us to “see” the place over the phone… then say we’ll send email on the plan and all to the master…

but on the way home, bf called his brother..then after the chat, he changed his mind.. and said he doesn’t want that place….

honestly i’m OK if he just don’t give me false hope.. this is not the first time!! now he say he prefers the previous unit we saw that i liked and it was sold because bf didn’t show any interest!!

haih.. i’m upset cos i’m always given false hope , great excitement on getting a house then he say NO!

my heart is becoming weaker day by day ….

i’m really tired…

i feel like crying ….

Let me update on couple of things :

1. Flat Hunting - it has been tiring.. cos the units that we like will be sold in couple of hours, and there are many units that we don’t like! so.. we’re still hunting!! so many things to consider i.e layout,location,condition,price,fengshui etc etc

2.my job- guess what?! the other day the annoying 2nd big boss said “don’t take the bank for a free ride!” hinting us to work harder!! she is the Market Head but she is not running sales! all she does is to motivate us to work harder … however, we’ve all come to conclusion that she’s DE-motivating ppl more than motivating!! i’m really hating her!! she even scolded us by saying ” i’m off by 40% in the first month, then 30%off the following month, this month is not looking good too! i dont want to be missed again next month in my target!!” hello?! she made it sound like it is ALL our fault!! if she’s so good/hardworking, she can run for the figures with us right? rather than just BARKING around!!!

3.Wedding date- hahah this is funny! the other day i tried out an application on Facebook on wedding date prediction! the result is 18/08/2010!!! and it was posted automatically on my Facebook! then people started to get excited , congratulated me and all! hahahah Don’t worry, i’ll need to settle the flat first..that’ll take easily a year!!

4.Boyfriend- he is definitely the “funniest” guy! why? he is always doing this, injure himself then rest for 2 days and declare his recovery then play sports again and injure himself even more badly!!!! this is not the first time! and i’ve warned him umpteen times, yet he doesn’t listen!! now, i have no choice but to set the rule that after first injury, no sports for at least ONE week!! we’ll see if he follows my “instruction” la!!

5.Family- i’m missing home!! i wanted to go home this weekend …but sister is heading to Penang! but we’re planning a short trip in August! i’m thinking of ClubMed!!

I think that’s it! what’s more? can’t remember now.. will update again later!

After visiting 2 GPs and 2 specialist… i think i’ve sort of got my eyelid dermatitis cured! well… Dr did mention that , it will not be CURED!! but it will subside and come back again for no reason!!

sigh.. but i’m glad at least i’m pretty again now.. imagine having flaky eyes!!! it is like as though i use some cheap eye shadow that is peeling off from my eyelids!! haih… and worse still when you rub your eye, those flaky skin just drop on my clothes , as if i’m a dirty person with dandruff all over!!

Previously i was using Ucort, it didn’t work and currently i’m using Elomet + Ego cream ….

hehe..sometimes when i’m lazy, i just apply Ego cream all over my face before i sleep.. afterall it is just a  moisturizer right?

8th of July -

lunch - we had a pre-birthday lunch with the colleagues.. also to celebrate 2 other colleagues’ farewell …..

tea time- i received the biggest bouquet of flowers in my life!! with 12 lilies and a dozen of roses *i think* .. it is like 2 kgs in weight and it is quite long too!! i lurrrve it !! and definitely was surprise!! cos didn’t expect to receive flowers 2 days before my birthday!!

post tea time- my colleagues took out a cake for me…then we had another mini celebration

dinner- bf came to pick me up from work and off we went to Mandarin Oriental Hotel’s Morton’s steak house! awesome service and dinner!

Breakkie- i got a surprise gift!! from the colleagues again!!

Dinner- we had sharks’ fin, oyster eggs, cod fish and vegetarian stew .. yumm yummm

10th of July-

Breakkie- Fish head noodle with sisters and off to Pavilion to shop!!

Bought a pair of heels and a pair of flats + a Tag Heuer!!

Lunch- was nothing except Starbucks Green Tea Latte and some Leong Fun dessert thing @ Pavilion

after the short weekend with tonnes of activities… i suffered from headache towards the end of the weekend…

today, i’m on MC… coughing and headache still!

Saturday was our 2nd anniversary… we woke up early ..for brunch @ Wang’s cafe then off to City Square, Farrer Park.. first time there and we ended up looking around for home furniture- Bedding and kitchen deco.. BF went for foot reflexology too! and a quick bite @ McDs then off to Orchard to meet up with his friend .. ended up spending some time @ Old Town white coffee … Dinner @ The Ship Awesome Chef’s Salad and Steak!

Sunday- bf went for his usual Soccer session in the morning while i did some house chores then off to Vivocity to shop around.. manage to get a pair of Levi’s Ladies Jeans! back home for brunch with the bf and off to view house!! we went to see 5 units .

1. Blk 8 Holland Avenue  - too old for our liking and it is too close to the Mrt Track!

2. 69 Telok Blangah Heights - OK, waiting for the valuation report exp 440k + 30k

3.40 Telok Blangah Rise- scary and old!

4.128 Kim Tian Road- level 3- ok.. but nope. level 10, definitely a no no

5.460 Clementi Avenue 3 - i personally love it! i can forsee myself living there .. but .. asking for S$555k… and it was bought within 2 hours!! so..nothing to say la!

and finally off to a friend’s birthday celebration @ Kbox, Cineleisure.. but i didn’t enjoy myself due to tiredness and bad headache

Now, we’re thinking if we really want 30 years old flat and do reno or a 8 years old with minimal reno …

if i say I’m not worried, I’m lying ….

how can i not be when the bf is trying to decide for a change of his career?!

I’ve said what i want to say.. and he knows my concern…. i guess this job offer came in at the wrong time but again it might not be such a bad idea afterall since we’ve yet to buy a house and decide to get married … if it is required, we’ll just delay those …. till he is more prepared and ready lo

BF, just do what you think is right! at this point of time, you’re still single, you’re still young, don’t worry so much… gf will be fine! She doesn’t know if supporting you is a good idea but she believes bf is mature enough to weigh all the pros and cons…. and make the right decision!

please don’t be pressurized by this post.. she just wants you to feel better …not worse…

is killing me… he has yet to change job, he recently got promoted to Asst.Manager with a 15 % pay rise! but …

he wants to leave.. simply because he finds his job boring, he has lost the momentum to work and he wants to leave to move into his ideal field-SALES!

he also got an offer by a small sales company… which offered to pay him a basic salary of what he was getting before the promotion and commission will be given if he achieves his target…

story telling time- his dad left a big big firm when he was in his 30s to venture into his dream - remisier too.. and  then the family went into crisis! the dad failed to bring home money so the whole family survived on the mother’s income… imagine 1 salary to raise 3 kids + a philipino maid!! the family is happy so long as the father doesn’t bring any trouble home - that’s it! but .. i don’t want this to happen to my family!!! i can’t imagine my kid not being able to eat /buy what they want!! and i can’t send my kids overseas to study? no yearly overseas holiday trip?

ok… so, bf is hoping that i’ll support him …

i personally think he should stay… but since he is not happy … then whatelse can i say? leave if he wants…

just pray hard that my future family won’t end up like his family!! or i’ll probably commite suicide and die … can’t take those pain!!

** wanted to post this in our private blog so that he’ll know how i feel abt it , but decided not to because i dont want him to feel the pressure… however, then it will mean i’ll have to be constantly worrying about him whether he could bring home the money everymonth!!

i’ve been trying very hard to close deals! and yesterday i managed to close a deal…

but.. i ended up being upset!!

cos i don’t know if i am doing the right thing!

bf and mum of course analysed the case for me and think i did the right thing!

however, i can’t help it but to think if i always fall into this sad trap after opening accounts, i’ll be in trouble cos i’ll always be upset…

anyway…

tonight will be a busy night …

i’m beginning to hate socialising!! but my job requires me to do so..how?

bf suggest that i should switch to a more stable and commission-free job then i’ll be less stressful and happier.. but do i think so? i don’t know!!

going to the salon now to get dress up and off for appointments… it’s going to be a long long day!!

Sad…

this morning the agent told me some1 offered 50+k on top of the valuation for the unit.. while we offered only 30k !!

so , naturally we were asked to up our price…

i thought i can up a bit but i can’t fight with 50k la…

mum said if i really like, i can bid for it.. but …

i guess we’ll look out for other units then…

we gave the offer .. and requested for the floor plan..tomorrow will be getting the feng shui master to check the feng shui then get the bank loan approval and hopefully the owner wants to sell to us …

let’s pray hard that they accept our offer! and the feng shui of this unit is good!

** when i told my mum about it.. she didn’t sound surprise… she asked a lil and i told her to prepare the down payment … when BF told his mum about it , she didn’t sound surprise too!! helllo? we’re talking about buying house TOGETHER?!??! how come you parents are not concern that we’re not even married? hem….

Golden Palace is similar to Crystal Jade Palace at Wisma Atria… give it a try! very different from Crystal Jade Kitchen/Xiao Long Bao .. Sometimes i get really confused with so many different crystal jades!

oh… remember to try Din Tai Fung’s Chilli Crab Xiao Long Bao too!! way better then the normal xiao long bao..again i tried it in Wisma, it was good .. compare to the previous year when i tried it @ Paragon, it was bad! they are definitely not as standardize as Jumbo! whichever Jumbo u go, i ensure u that they taste the same! cos the sauce is pre-cooked !

Bf is officially a BOH GEY (toothless in Hokkien) now..

He got 2 wisdom tooth extracted last week of June .. then got 2 more wisdom tooth extracted *through surgery* first week of July ..Now he is on 8 days Medical leave .. he can’t hardly eat …

First day- After the 1 hour surgery, we went home and i cooked him Sweet potato+ dried shrimps+chicken +salted eggs porridge *yummy*

Second Day- i cooked him Sweet potato + chicken + salted egg porridge *OK la.. less flavorful since he didn’t want the shrimps*

Third Day- Marks and Spencer’s Minestrone Soup + one mini croissant *good stuff but not filling enough* + Crystal Jade dinner ( Fish porridge and 2 different soups) 

Forth Day- he cooked pasta for lunch but failed , i cooked him Mee Sua *awesome he said* for dinner 

Fifth Day - he’ll have to settle himself since i will be back to work again … 

I hope he can recover soon to be able to enjoy the steak/sotong/pork/all the chewy and hard food!

I’m secretly hoping for a lot of things …

i saw a friend’s msg on Facebook that she has been given loads of surprises *everyday* before and after her birthday!!

i can’t help it but to think for my own birthday …

My birthday fell on a Saturday … I will be back in KL since younger sis will be back too but … the bf said he doesn’t want to go back ..

I secretly wish he could be back too … but …. i can’t take a gun and force him , right?

I’ve always wanted lots of surprises … but… never come true .. it is either i’m too smart to find out the surprises before i’m being surprised or … no1 bother planning anything for me *teehee*

Last year, mum and sis came to SG and we celebrated with good food and spent good times in the Singapore Zoo ..

what am i doing this year? i don’t really want to plan… , i don’t really want to celebrate anymore as I grow older …

Since i know my pay rise..

the first thing i bought was the portable air-con that costed me SGD1100 ! but Bf promised to pay 50%

Then i bought some small things for the new room …. the house ….

but the most obvious spending is definitely on FOOD!!

we’ve been eating good food since then!

I met bf for lunch and we had Sakae Sushi for lunch which costed SGD40!!

then dinner at Soup Restaurant - SGD 60-70

our Long Beach Dinner - SGD 90 for Chili Crab

even eating at Tai Chow stall is costly!! cos we’ll order 1 meat, 1 seafood and 1 veg!! we used to just share and simply order 2 dishes!

i can’t even recall whatelse we ate.. but i remember they are all expensive! cos we used to try to budget at SGD30 for dinner!!and we are spending more than SGD50 on meals everyday!! which is SGD1500 on food a month!!!! crazy!!

Also,

But ,

we did have a very cheap dinner on Sunday! we spent SGD3 and we were both so full! haha we had 2 packets of instant noodle and a can of Luncheon meat!! why? cos we were lazy to go out! and i thought saving on dinner then spend a good night at Marina Mandarin’s lounge for nice music! luckily i ended up sleeping, or we’ll spend another SGD60-80 there again!!

can you believe it that i didn’t buy anything for myself????

i’m eyeing on a few things :

1. A new camera ..Lumix

2. A new bag .. MuMiu/LV/Burberry/Channel

3. new clothings for work and casual

4. a new mobile phone * but i’ll be getting a new blackberry, so do i still need a new mobile phone??*

i don’t even have time for my mani/pedi!! i’ve been really busy lately!!!

I think since i came back from Japan.. i developed this skin scaling / peeling around my eye area…

i went to my usual Facial and she told me to do an eye-treatment which i did…

but …

eyes area were still flaky despite applying tonnes of moisturizer..

i didn’t come to my mind that i should consult a dr cos i thought it is simply DRY skin!

till i got eye infection- conjunctivitis … i saw the GP cum Skin Specialist.. i kepoh asked for cream for the eye.. he gave me some cream…after using it became better but not long later it came back when i stop applying …

this few days.. it came back again ..

it is all flaky again.. till i look so ugly which my eye shadow on …

i started to google ..to see what’s the cause!!

to my surprise , it is the hard-to-cure-eczema!!!

i called the Dr, to ask what was the cream he gave me and what is it use to treat! he said it contains steroid and it is to treat eyelid eczema!!

haih…..

now i still have flaky eyes…. i’ll consult another dr too!!

p/s : it is itchy at times too! and once it was all red with a bit of burning feeling… that i soothe it with Aloe Vera …

Anyone now any good medicine or how to cure this???  but mine is still considered as Mild .. i just want to cure it and never have flaky eyes anymore!!

As i mentioned previously, i’ll be converted to a permanent staff in few days time…

with the pay rise, i’ve been suffering from extreme stress from the boss and myself!! i’ve been dreaming about work/boss plus weirdest dreams on earth everynight…

I’m considering if there’s a better opportunity out there, i’ll jump over as an Assistant Private Banker… I’ve been doing extremely well considering i’ve just worked for 16 months and i can jump up to this level… as i was talking to Bf’s Bro yesterday, he is amazed by my fixed salary every month not to forget my commission! anyway…

ya.. i talked to BF ..he rather see me happy with lower salary then having high salary and suffer now….

but … leave that aside..cos i’m just too lazy to go through a whole new getting use to the company/people again.. plus i know people from Private Banking are extremely “lan si” and proud! bleah!

Currently, i’m still a Business Development Manager.. but… on top of that, i’ve slowly marched into the Relationship manager’s job … beginning to get into investments and advisory position.

How do i feel? i feel alright… but stressful lo…. haih…

i was extremely upset by this job issue few days back…but now i am A-OK! just take it as a challenge, if i can do it, i’ll be the survivor! if i fail, then don’t feel sad and try harder lo!
